Where is Duman BBQ?
Duman Turkish Restaurant & Meze Bar is at 12 Old Station Close, Crawley Down, RH10 4TX. The village sits between Crawley and East Grinstead in West Sussex.
What are your opening hours?
Monday: Closed. Tuesday - Thursday: 12.00 - 22.00. Friday - Saturday: 12.00 - 23.00. Sunday: 12.00 - 22.00.
Do I need to book a table?
Tables can be booked online through our reservations page, or by calling 07379 747 700. Weekends fill up first, so book ahead if you are coming Friday or Saturday.
Can I order food to take away?
Yes. Order online at order.dumanbbq.co.uk, which shows what is available for collection and delivery to your postcode, or call 07379 747 700 to order directly with the restaurant.
What kind of food do you serve?
Turkish cooking built around the charcoal grill: lamb and chicken shish, Adana kofte, beyti, kulbasti, lamb chops and ribs, alongside hot and cold meze, whole grilled fish, salads, burgers, wraps and baklava. The grill is in an open kitchen, so you can watch the food being cooked.
Are there vegetarian options?
13 dishes on the menu are marked vegetarian: humus, cacik, saksuka, stuffed vine leaves, falafel, grilled halloumi, sigara boregi and the vegetarian kebab, among others. The menu page has a "Vegetarian only" filter that shows them together.
Do you have a children's menu?
Yes. 5 smaller portions at £8.00 - £9.50: shish, Adana kofte, chicken wings and nuggets.
How do I tell you about an allergy?
Tell the team when you order, in the restaurant or on the phone, and we will check the dish for you. We handle nuts, sesame, dairy, gluten, egg, fish and molluscs in one kitchen, so we cannot promise any dish is free from traces of an allergen.
How much does a meal cost?
Meze start at £5.95 and most main courses from the charcoal grill are between £13.00 and £20.00. The Duman Special, a mixed grill for two, is £39.00. Current prices for all 70 dishes are on the menu page.
Can you cater for a birthday or a large party?
Yes. We host birthdays, celebrations and wedding receptions. Call 07379 747 700 or email info@dumanbbq.co.uk with your date and how many of you there will be, and we will put something together.
