Cookie Policy
We set no cookies of our own. The ones you may pick up here belong to Google, and come from the map.
We set no cookies of our own and store nothing in your browser under our name. The map is the exception: it is Google’s, and Google’s cookies come with it.
The map
Our home page and our contact page both show a Google map. It loads with the page, so opening either one tells Google your IP address and lets it set its own cookies in your browser. We do not read those cookies and we never see them; they are between you and Google, under Google’s privacy policy.
If you would rather not, block third-party cookies in your browser or use its private mode. Nothing else on the page depends on the map: our address and a directions link sit right beside it.
Fonts
The two typefaces come from Google Fonts, but they were downloaded when this site was built and are served from our own domain. Reading a page sends no request to Google.
Analytics
If analytics are running, we use Plausible, which counts page views without cookies and without following anyone between sites. It tells us that a page was read, never who read it.
Leaving this site
Booking, ordering and the WhatsApp button all take you somewhere else. Those companies set their own cookies once you arrive:
- Dojo, for table bookings
- order.dumanbbq.co.uk, for online orders
- WhatsApp, if you message us there
Their policies apply from that point on, not ours.
Blocking cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Nothing on this site will break if you do.
